First Man - Exciting news for space fans!

First Man - Exciting news for space fans! The new "First Man" movie, starring Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong, tells the riveting story of NASA's mission to land a man on the Moon. The movie, which is based on the book by James R. Hansen, relays the dramatic tale of Neil Armstrong's iconic and historic mission to the moon.

A visit to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a fascinating way to dive deeper into the story. Guests can start at the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®, to check out Armstrong's plaque from his 1993 induction. Right next door is the 3D omnidirectional theater in Heroes & Legends, which is designed to make guests feel as though they are floating in the vastness of space. Compelling, interactive exhibits explain how the early space program set the foundation for the successful moon landing. And a visit to the Apollo/Saturn V Center will find guests directly underneath the same kind of rocket used to propel Armstrong to the moon in 1969. Surrounded by artifacts and more to explore, experiences include the chance to touch an actual moon rock, see the Apollo astronaut transport van and the opportunity to relive the final few minutes leading up to the first words ever spoken from the surface of the moon in the Lunar Theater.
