What the West Coast of USA has to offer

Posted on: 17 Aug 2015

The West Coast or Pacific Coast of the USA most often refers to the states of California, Oregon and Washington, and away from the coast the term Western America can sometimes include the states of Nevada, Arizona and Idaho.

A region that encompassing some of the world's most renown and popular US landmarks; such as the Gold Gate Bridge, the Hoover Dam and Craters of the Moon National Monument as well as an array of popular fun attractions and theme parks such Disneyland, Discovery Park and Silverwood Theme Park, it possibly goes without saying that a West Cost USA holiday from Ireland has something for all ages.

Whilst most people might travel to America from Ireland for the bright lights and celebrity hang outs of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the region has so much more to offer and arguably including some of the best states to visit in America, a trip to the West Coast is a must and not just for the landmarks and theme parks; as the area has not much more than that to offer, like a picturesque tramway and train tour through the Napa Valley Wine Region of perhaps a trip on the Sacramento River Train or maybe a trip to some of the best historic museums, zoos, wildlife parks, aquariums and botanic Gardens.
