All Aboard!

The All Aboard! experience is centred around the mighty Reuben Wells, a 19th-century steam locomotive that once pushed trains up the steepest standard-gauge hill in the United States in Madison, Indiana. You can watch the Reuben Wells “take off” every 30 minutes in a dramatic three-minute sound and light show that highlights the power and history of this 35-foot-long, 55-ton engineering marvel.

With a hands-on adventure where you can explore the locomotive and its history, including “riding” the rails in a tool car and operating various train functions.

Designed to inspire visitors’ imaginations and curiosity about trains and their place in history, making it a captivating experience for families and train enthusiasts alike.
