Country Music Festival’s Debut on St. Pete-Clearwater’s Award-Winning Beaches
Travellers craving a spring sunshine break with a twist can add a new gig-tripping holiday to their 2026 travel plans with Country Thunder Florida. Part of North America’s largest country music festival brand, Country Thunder Florida will unfold its first-ever beachfront edition on the award-winning sands of St. Pete Beach from 8-10 May 2026. Country stars including Zach Top, Gavin Adcock, Shaboozey, and Kane Brown headline the full lineup.
Set on the TradeWinds Resort’s expansive beachfront, the three-day event will pair chart-topping country hits with picturesque St. Pete Beach sunsets just steps away from warm Gulf Coast waters. The wider St. Pete-Clearwater area is home to 35 miles of sugar-white sand beaches, nearly 50 locally owned craft breweries, and dozens of live music venues and tiki huts.
“Bringing Country Thunder to St. Pete Beach marks an exciting new era for our festival,” says Troy Vollhoffer, CEO & President of Country Thunder. “From the moment we first stepped onto the white sands at TradeWinds, we knew this was the perfect home for an elevated fan experience. Partnering with a world-class resort that has been a cornerstone of this community allows us to deliver something truly special — not just for our fans, but for the entire region. With the Gulf as our backdrop and Country music’s biggest artists on our stage, 2026 will be one for the books.”
