British Airways Announces Expanded Schedule and Free Wi-Fi Powered by Starlink
As part of the expanded schedule, British Airways will increase flights from key U.S. destinations:
- Baltimore will increase to a daily service to London Heathrow for Winter 2026, complementing the existing daily summer service
- New Orleans will increase to four flights per week to London Heathrow
- Houston will increase to 12 flights per week to London Heathrow
The additional flights will provide greater flexibility for customers traveling between the U.S., London and British Airways’ global network.
We’re also pleased to launch free, fast and reliable Wi‑Fi powered by Starlink, marking a major step forward in the onboard experience for our customers.
From 19th March, we’ll begin rolling out complimentary Wi‑Fi across our fleet, available to every customer, in every cabin, with no extra charges.
Designed to be fast, reliable and easy to use, the service allows customers to stream their favourite series, make last‑minute restaurant reservations, work collaboratively in real time and stay connected on multiple devices throughout the flight.
Wi‑Fi will be available from take-off to touch down, ensuring customers can stay connected throughout their flight.
This new capability reflects our continued investment in improving the customer experience and supporting how our customers want to travel today – whether for business, leisure or a combination of both. Our first Starlink enabled flight departed yesterday – BA197 LHR-IAH (Houston).
We’ll continue to keep travel partners updated as free Wi‑Fi is rolled out across our fleet in the coming months.
